A State Mortgage Bank Branch opened in Vavunia

Minister of Constructions, Engineering Services and Public Utilities Wimal Weerawansa declared open the Service Branch of State Mortgage and Investment Bank in Vaunia on Thursday (10). During the opening ceremony, Minister Weerawansa granted Rs.30 million as housing loans to 150 residents of the area on concessional interest rates.

Minister Geethanjana Gunawardena, Chairman of State Mortgage and Investment Bank, Jagath Wellawatta, Government Agent of Vaunia, K. Charles and others were present at the occasion.
