The National Authority on Tobacco and Alcohol (NATA) has prohibited selling cigarettes at temporary erected stalls in ‘Pooja Bhumi' (sacred premises) in Anuradhapura during Poson Pilgrimage Season.
The President of NATA, Prof. Carlo Fonseka has directed all relevant District Secretaries to make necessary orders as per National Tobacco and Alcohol Act.
