Special Task Force (STF) members of Aralaganwila has arrested four suspects along with 3ft. height an ancient granite Buddha statue following a raid in Alahenpitiya, Girandurukotte.
Acting upon a tip-off that suspects were getting ready to sell the statue for Rs.1.5 million the STF has raided the house.
Owner of the house along with 3 others have been arrested and that they are residents of Ududumbara, Mahiyanganaya.
