UNP,MP Gankanda surrenders

alt United National Party (UNP) Parliamentarian Dunesh Gankanda who was wanted by Police over an assault in a night club, Colombo has been surrendered to Colpetty Police Station through a Lawyer.

The Member of Parliament (MP) had gone missing after assaulting a 41 year old businessman. Victim’s nose had been bitten by him after assaulting him, at a Colombo five star hotel on last Saturday.

However, the Ratnapura District UNP Parliamentarian who was on assault charges has reported to Colombo Police short while ago.
