The production capacity of milk will be increased from 180,000 Liters to 400,000 Liters per day after making necessary modernization work in Milk Processing Unit, Minister of Finance and Planning said.
The milk liquid will be popularized in areas where malnutrition prevails, while milk will be utilized to produce other dairy productions thereby paving the way to market the production.
However, the observers say consumers are not encouraged to buy local liquid milk due to importation of milk powder.
