The Palmyra Development Board (PDB) which was inefficient in the past has shown a rapid development, says Traditional Industries and Small enterprises Development Minister Douglas Devananda.
Minister who opened an Palmyra Development Office in Puliyankulam, Vavunia at a cost of Rs.1.5 million said the newly opened office and farm would provide a great service to Palmyra growers in Vavunia district.
The office will facilitate Palmyra producers to manufacture and market Palmyra related goods and the other issues of people in the area too will be solved in near future, Minister added.
