Court orders to hold funerals in a peaceful manner

Walasmulla Magistrate’s Court ordered today (18) to hold the funerals of two victims died of the shooting incident at Katuwana in a peaceful manner.

Court order has been given prohibiting the use of flags, banners or placards of any kind while directives were given to use the shortest route to cemetery for last rituals.

Two persons were killed due to gun shots opened at a JVP rally in Hambantota and their funerals are to be held in the evening today (18).
