Iraq is impressed over Sri Lankan Apparels

Iraqi Ambassador in Sri Lanka who made a courtesy call on Minister of Commerce and Industry, Rishad Bathiudeen on Thursday (21) had revealed of the necessities during his visit to the Ministry of Commerce.
 
During the discussion, Iraqi Ambassador has said that Iraq imports bulk of Pure Ceylon Tea which they really like and now in the lookout for raw rubber and garments as well as none of them are produced in Iraq. He has also invited a business delegation to Baghdad Fair 2012, to be held in November.
 
Minister Bathuideen has in return invited Iraqi investors to invest in Sri Lankan Apparel manufacturing sector and has promised to send a strong Sri Lankan trade and biz delegation to Baghdad Fair 2012.
