Divi Naguma sub Committee will facilitate producers to find a market place for their products manufactured under Divi Naguma Project, Minster of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa said during the progress review meeting in Ministry on 10th.The meeting was held for sub-committees that come under Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock, Domestic and Economic industries under Divi Naguma Programme.
Measures are afoot to find international market for Divi Naguma products apart from the local market while provincial weekly fairs will be developed to Divi Naguma weekly fairs to market the products.
Minister has instructed to distribute 5 million seed packets in upcoming Maha Season including s seeds suitable for relevant areas.
