All Ceylon Health Service Workers (ACHSWU) Union has issued a combined announcement to Minister of Health, Secretary of Health and Director General of Health Services that it was the responsibility of authorities to deploy officers under proper security avoiding the pathetic situation being arisen.
It further requests to implement proper course of action to do justice to the family of Public Health Inspector who was killed of a pestle attack.
ACHSWU further proposes the government to pay a compensation for the deceased PHI who was killed while on duty along with entire funeral expenses by Ministry of Health.
