Secretary, Defence, Gotabaya Rajapaksa says that legal action will be framed against politicians irrespective of their social status if found responsible for crimes.
Speaking at the media conference in Ministry, Secretary said that no politician is allowed to encroach State or private lands and also to harass public while police has given full authority to bring offending politicians to justice.
Proper and stern action will be leveled against drug dealers, mercenaries and extortionists in the country while action will be taken to eliminate underworld gangs to create a clean, free and peaceful environment for people.
Defence Secretary requested the support of public and opposition parties to the government to prevent crimes and apprehend the criminals.
