A 12 hour water cut will be imposed in Colombo areas from 8.00 pm on 14th July to 8.00 am on 15th July due to laying of new pipelines in the city under Greater Colombo Water Supply and Rehabilitation Project, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said.
Accordingly, Panchikawatta Rd. Maligawatta Housing Scheme area, Mihindu Mw., Akbar Lane, Sebastian St., Huftsdorp, Maharoof Water Tower area, Sangaraja Mw., Elphinston Theatre Junction to Jethavana Rd., and Miraniya Street areas will be affected by water cut.
