A Wing Commander (WC) attached to Vavuniya Air Force Camp was arrested by CID for aiding and abetting a person to impersonate Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa to get his transfer cancelled.
He was produced before court and was enlarged on Rs. one million bail with two sureties. The person who identified himself as Namal Rajapaksa to telephone Air Force Commander to cancel the transfer of the WC is evading the arrest and Court directed police to arrest the other suspect and produce him in court.
