Former Indian Cabinet Minister and the Janatha Party Leader Dr. Subramanium Swamy says foreign proposals are irrelevant for Sri Lanka’s reconciliation process and that it could not be achieved through foreign directives at all.
The honour in defeating the terrorism in the country should be given to President Mahind Rakapaksa and pointed out that the final decision on decentralization of power should be laid in the hands of Sri Lanka Parliament.
Speaking at the 2012 Defence Conference in Hotel Galadari, Colombo, Dr. Subramanium said that decentralization of power is no more a requirement of India.
