The Chairman of Kalutara Pradeshiya Sabha (PS),Lakshman Vidanapathiranage was further remanded until September 04th for soliciting a bribe.PS Chairman and his office Assistant were taken into custody on 27th July by Bribery Commissioners’ Department for bribery.
He had allegedly accepted a bribe of Rs.3 million from a businessman in Kalutara to grant approval for developing a property in Nagoda, Kalutara.
