Kolkata Knight Riders claimed 6-wicket victory in the IPL’s 51st match played at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi and finally reached the top defeating long-time top spot holder Devil Daredevils on yesterday (07) after achieving 153-run target of Delhi Daredevils bringing new top points holder in the top two teams battle.Delhi Daredevils team’s batting performances fell down on yesterday’s match as top three opening batsmen David Warner, Virender Sehwag and Mahel a Jayawardena were out for 21,23 and 30 runs respectively. Irfan Pathan, the 5th batsman of the team scored 36 runs as the highest individual score of Daredevils on Yesterday’s match. KKR was able to restricted the DD score for 153 runs off 9 wickets after 20 overs .
The target challenger Kolkata Knight Riders make it to the top when DD’s target crossed scoring 154 runs off 4 wickets with 8 more balls remaining. Team’s opening three-batman Brandon McCullum, Gautam Gambhir and Jacques Kallis added 56, 36 and 30 runs individually. The Man of The Match claimed by KKR’s Jacques Kallis.
