Chennai Super Kings to play IPL Final against Kolkata Knight Riders

altChennai Super Kings was able to qualify for 2012 Indian Premier League final match after beating mighty Delhi Daredevils at the second qualifying match played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk in Chennai  yesterday (25).

 
The Super Kings started  batting innings as the toss winner Delhi Daredevils decided to field first.  The DD’s decision was not quite good as Super Kings smashed and gave a massive target of 222 runs off 5 wickets in 20 overs. 
 
The team’s score was raised by Murali Vijay who added a century, scoring 133 runs off 58 balls. Dwayne Bravo scored 33 runs while others were out in scores below 30. 
 
The Daredevils started their innings hoping to battle with KKR in the final but unexpectedly all Daredevils’ players were gone out in a score of 136 runs after 16 overs and 5 balls. Mahela Jayewardene helped to achieve the CSK’s target adding 55 runs but other players were limited for low scores.
 
Chennai Super Kings claimed 86-run victory and qualified for IPL Final match to compete against Kolkata Knight Riders at Chennai tomorrow (27).
