After the draw of Twenty20 series, Lions are facing for the first one-day-international match in 5-ODI series, which is playing against Pakistan at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium today (07).
The match will be played as a day & night 50-over match and will start at 02.30 pm in local time. Pakistan has played 28 ODIs in the Island where they lost 13 and won 13 becoming the only even ODI score holder against Sri Lanka.
The Pakistan team has done few changes as Jamshed is out of squad and Imran Farhat or Azhar Ali will open the batting innings with Mohammad Hafeez.
Sri Lankans have made their changes as calling Rangana Herath to the squad and Captain Mahela will not be seen as opening batsman with TM Dilshan because he will play as third in order while Upul Thranga will take the opening partnership with Dilshan.
