Pakistan scored 94 end of 1st session after Lions invitation to bat first.

altThe second test of 3-Test series started surprisingly as toss winner Sri Lanka invited tourists to bat first in the second 5-day Test match played at Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) grounds today (30).

 
When it come to batting, Lions, who decided to bat first after the toss win and recorded a 209-run victory in the 1st Test beating Pakistan. 
 
Who knows the field first decision of Captain Mahela might take Lions to an irreparable victory as same as the 1st test victory on last Monday (25). 
 
Pakistan took the advantage of SL’s invitation and scored 94 runs off 1 wicket at the end of the first session of the Day-one. 
 
Taufeeq Umar, who gave an excellent start for Pakistan scoring 65 runs, was gone out giving a catch to Wicket-keeper, Prasanna for a bowl delivered by Angelo Mathews. 
 
The opening batsman Mohammed Hafeez and third in place Azhar Ali are now on the pitch adding 20 and 1 runs.      
 
Sri Lanka team is unchanged while Pakistan has called Misbah-ul-Haq who had abandoned in the first test played at Galle
 
which brought a victory for Sri Lanka.
 
Misbah’s return made Mohammad Ayub, who played well in his debut test in Galle, to keep off for the second Test at SSC.
