At least 220 people were killed and around 1,500 were injured after two earthquakes hit in northwest Iran where rescue workers and medical staff trying to save people since last night.
According to the Iranian officials, some casualties are in serious condition while the casualties are expected to cross the counted as there are still people, who trapped under the rubble in inaccessible places where rescuers are struggling to save them throughout the darkness and into Sunday.
Iranian media reports say that six villages were destroyed and rescuers are digging people out of the rubble. The two earthquakes were 6.4 and 6.3 in magnitude struck near city of Tabriz
