A fresh controversy has arisen over the T20 match scheduled to be played in Lahore between Sri Lanka and Pakistan. 

Sri Lanka Cricket confirmed last night that the Sri Lanka team will play the match in Lahore, despite security concerns raised by the team. 

The SLC said security conditions in Lahore are satisfactory. 

However, it is now learnt that Sri Lankan ODI and T20 captain Upul Tharanga is likely to pull out of the Lahore match due to security concerns.
