The Colombo High Court dissolved the jury of the trial of a double murder in Kotakethana when it was taken up for hearing today.

The case pertaining to the murder of a mother, Nayana Nilmini, and her daughter, Kavindya Chathurangani, was taken up today. The accused, Lokugamhewage Darshana and his wife Rasika Chandani, requested the case to be hears in front of a judge.

Considering the request, HC Judge Kusala Sarojini Weerawardhana dissolved the jury and directed the case to be heard without a jury.
