Meanwhile. in a positive development between the two parties, NFF Leader Wimal Weerawansa has welcomed the president's decision to seek opinion of the Parliament on the international inquiry panel appointed by the UNHRC.

The minister, addressing a public meeting yesterday, had said it was a wise move to let Parliament decide on the matter as the legislature represents the supreme power of people.

According to political sources, discussions between the President and the NFF delegation will take place on Wednesday or Tuesday in the presence of several senior officials of the UPFA.
