Yoshitha Rajapaksa Permitted To Leave Country For One Month

Colombo High Court Judge A.A.R. Heyiyanthuduwa decided to allow Yoshitha Rajapaksa to leave the country for a period of one month for medical treatment.

The High Court ordered the Kaduwela Magistrate to release the passport of Yoshitha Rajapaksa on two bonds of Rs 10 million each. 

Rajapaksa informed court that he has to undergo medical treatment in Melbourne due to requirements of the national rugby squad.

The High Court said that he has to submit the details of hospital appointments before his passport is released.

Yoshitha Rajapaksa's passport has been impounded over the CSN case for which he was arrested on January 30. He was released on bail in March.
