Death Of Two Jaffna University Students: Bullet Wounds Found In Driver Of Motorbike

The post mortem of the two Jaffna University students who died in what was described as an accident revealed bullet wounds in the student who had driven their motorbike.

This was revealed last night after the post mortem which was carried out in the Jaffna Hospital.

The pillion rider had not been shot. However, he was also killed.

The two Arts Faculty students were Nadarasa Kajan and Sutharshan Kantharodai. They were returning from a party on the night on the 20th when the incident occurred.

It is thought that the police shot them when they did not heed to orders to stop. Five policemen are in custody for the death.
