mer President Mahinda Rajapaksa appeared before PRECIFAC, a short while ago, to give a statement on non-payment of bills for election ads on the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation during the last Presidential election campaign.

The Presidential Commission launched an inquiry recently for losses incurred by Rupavahini due to 'unpaid' election advertisements.

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, the Presidential candidate of the United People's Freedom Alliance  (UPFA) came under criticism for placing ads on state media without payments.
