Leader of the Opposition, Tamil National Alliance (TNA) leader MP R. Sampathan met with Swedish Ambassador to India, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka Harold Sandberg at the Opposition Leader’s Office at the Parliamentary Complex yesterday.

Reports said the Opposition Leader has appraised the Swedish Ambassador on the current political situation in the country.

He had also highlighted to the Swedish Ambassador some of the challenges faced by the Tamil people in the North and East of the island.
