JVP Extends Condolences To People Affected By Hurricane Irma

The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna yesterday extended condolences to the people affected by the Irma hurricane. 

Issuing a special statement in this regard, the JVP strength and courage for everyone to recover from the trauma and stabilize the countries rapidly

The full statement is as follows,

"People around the world are shaken by the catastrophe United States and Caribbean Cou5.

The hurricane has caused fatalities in several places. Simultaneously, had caused major damages to infrastructures of the countries. We, comradely hope that all citizens of the affected countries will turn the tragedy into a challenge and overcome it with unity and sensibility. Furthermore, we hope that the affected countries stand together and work shoulder to shoulder in overcoming whatever the challenges may be.

We, as the Peoples’ Liberation Front (JVP), Sri Lanka would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and wish fast recovery to the injured. We wish strength and courage for everyone to recover from the trauma and stabilize the countries rapidly.
