in an interesting turn of events, SLFP Senior Vice President, Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva wore a wig to Parliament, resembling the hairstyle of famous Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan. 

The MPs attending the Parliamentary sessions as well as the reporters covering the proceedings from the press gallery were intrigued by the senior Parliamentarian's new hairstyle. 

Many assumed that de Silva - a septuagenerian famous in the political circles for his extravagance with the ladies - had opted to go for a new look by changing the hairstyle.

However, it was later revealed that the Minister had shaven his head following a visit to a famous place of worship in India.
