Presidential Commission Concludes Hearing Evidence: Will Reconvene If Necessary For Statement From PM

The Presidential Commission of Inquiry investigating the Treasury Bond issue has officially concluded hearing of evidence, the Commission informed today.

It said however, it was prepared to reconvene for a special hearing from Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe if necessary.

The three-member Presidential Commission this morning questioned Aloysius’s Personal Secretary Steve Samuel.

Samuel had avoided appearing before the on the previous date he was summoned (October 11), citing cardiac arrest.
