An Indian Cricket writer has hailed Sri Lankan captain Dinesh Chandimal saying the latter was gracious to a fault when he thanked Indian cricket fans after the test series on Wednesday.

"Dinesh Chandimal, gracious to a fault, thanks India's crowds for their support. This despite his team being booed and repeatedly called "losers" in chants from the Kotla stands. Wishes Kohli and team the best for the South Africa tour. Class," Ananda Vasu tweeted.

Sri Lankan cricketers came under heavy criticism from Indian cricketers when they complained that it was impossible to play in Delhi due to air pollution.
