Chathura And Wijedasa Heavily Involved In No-Confidence Game: Mission To Draw Support Of 15 UNP MPs

Parliamentarian Chathura Senaratne and former Justice Minister Wijedasa Rajapakshe are heavily involved in the 'No confidence motion' operation against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, informed political sources said.

Asian Mirror learns that their aim is to secure the support of at least 15 UNP MPs for the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister.

State Ministers Palitha Range Bandara and Wasantha Senanayake have already indicated that they will support a no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister.

Athuralie Rathana Thera, a national list MP of the UNP, is also likely to support the motion. Rathana Thera is a close ally of Chathura Senaratne, the son of Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne.
