Former Parliamentarian And Staunch Rajapaksa Loyalist V.K. Indika Passes Away Due To Sudden Illness

Former UPFA Parliamentarian V.K. Indika has passed away due to a  sudden illness. 

Family sources said the politician had passed away at his personal residence in Kalubowila, Dehiwala. 

He was 51 years old at the time of his demise. 

Indika contested the last Parliamentary election on the UPFA ticket but failed to secure his seat. 

He then joined the Joint Opposition and remained an activist of the Sri Lanka Podujana Party. He was also a staunch loyalist of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
