The Police arrested popular singer Priyani Jayasinghe's husband today in connection with her murder 

The singer was found hacked to death at her residence in Panadura yesterday. 

The Police launched investigations to arrest the singer's husband for the murder and he was evading arrest. 

The initial inquiries revealed that the singer had been attacked with a scissor.
