President Calls For A Report On "Dissenting" Cabinet Ministers

Presidential Secretariat has called for a special report on cabinet minister whio dodge propaganda activities of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party. 

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has made this move in a context where the ruling party is heavily preparing for a national level election in the near future, most probably a Presidential election. 
 
Vernacular newspapers on Monday stated that some ministers of the cabinet, who are disillusioned with the present administration of the ruling party, are dodging propaganda activities of the ruling party. 
 
Meanwhile, it was also reported that some ministers are holding secret discussions with former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga who is most likely to return to active politics next year, with the announcement of Presidential election. 
 
The ruling party has also embarked on a restructuring plan for electorates in every district. A spokesman of the ruling party told Asian Mirror that under the restructuring plan the party will take immediate measures to replace electorate organizers who seem to be inefficient. 
 
The presidential election, according to highly placed political sources, will take place early next year.
