Despite Recent 'Public Humiliation' Uditha Lokubandara Says He Looks Forward To Accompanying MR To New Delhi

Despite the recent public humiliation, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's Private Secretary Uditha Lokubandara said he was looking forward to accompanying the former President to New Delhi next month.

Lokubandara, a former Parliamentarian, got lambasted by His boss, former President Rajapaksa, recently in the presence of TV cameras over some minor blunder.

The former President referred to his private secretary as "Moda Yakek" (Stupid Devil), and the remark later went vital on Social Media.

After the incident, Lokubandara remained low key for several days. His tweet on accompanying the former President to India was the Private Secretary's first public statement after the public humiliation by his boss.

The tweet was posted after Lokubandara met Dr. Subramiam Swamy, the visiting Indian politician who is also a close friend of former President Rajapaksa.

It was Swamy who invited Rajapaksa to deliver a public speech in New Delhi on September 12.

Lokubandara, the son of former Speaker W.J.M. Lokubandara, said he was looking forward to make Rajapaksa's visit to New Delhi a "roaring success."
