Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Former President Chandrika Kumaratunge today.

The Former President is currently in India to attend the World Sustainable Development Summit 2019. 

This was the second meeting between Kumaratunga and Modi in three months. They also met at the swearing-in ceremony of the new President of the Maldives, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. 

There has not been an official statement so far, from either party, on matters that were discussed at the meeting.
