Team From UK Will Soon Visit Sri Lanka To Assist Authorities In Probing Easter Sunday Attacks: Imran Call Also Offers Assistance

A team from the United Kingdom will soon be in Sri Lanka to assist the Sri Lankan authorities in investigations into the Easter Sunday explosions, sources close to the Prime Minister's Office said. 

They added that the UK Prime Minister Theresa May contacted her Sri Lankan counterpart Ranil Wickremesinghe over the phone last night. 

May had offered to provide assistance to Wickremesinghe, as the UK is vastly experienced in battling extremist terrorism

Meanwhile, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has also telephoned the Sri Lankan Prime Minister to offer his condolences this morning.

Prime Minister Khan had told the Sri Lankan that over 70,000 Pakistanis have been killed due to terrorism. He has also offered assistance to Sri Lanka to battle
