Mohammed Ali Hassan, Director of Information at the Ministry of Finance, has been arrested by the Police after 93, 12-bore ammunition recovered from his Malwana residence.

He has also held a senior position at the Government Information Department.

Police Media Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekera confirmed the arrest and said further Police inquiries are underway.
