Parliamentary Select Committee Decides To Re-Summon Rishad Bathiudeen On June 28 Due To "Time Constraints"

The Parliamentary Select Committee probing the Easter Sunday attacks decided to re-summon former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen on the 28th of this month.

Although Bathiudeen appeared before the PSC at 5 PM today, the members of the committee expressed the view that Bathiudeen should be questioned extensively.

However, three members of the committee said thet had to leave the proceedings for another meeting.

Therefore, the committee decided to give Bathiudeen another date to tesify before the PSC.

However, Army Commander Lt. General Mahesh Senanayake and the Private Secretary to the former Muslim Affairs Minister testified before the PSC today.
