Former DIG Anura Senanayake Served Indictment On Concealing Evidence In Wasim Thajudeen Murder

The Colombo High Court today served indictment on former DIG Anura Senanayake for concealing evidence on Wasim Thajudeen's murder.

Senanayake, who was previousy remanded in connection with the investigation for several months, appeared in court today.

Senanayake, a key figure in the defence apparatus under the Rajapaksa administration, was later released on bail.

The retired senior Police officer was charged with concealing evidence in the case and protecting the culprits.
