Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thera said his organization would be disbanded after the next General Election.

Addressing a press conference in Colombo, Gnanasara said the outcome of the Presidential election had proven that the Sinhalese majority could form a government on its own. , "Now, the country has a good leader and a strong leadership," Gnanasara Thera said, explaining reasons for his decision.

"After the next Parliamentary election, a good Cabinet of Ministers should be appointed to take the country forward," he added.
