Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa To Be Sworn In As Prime Minister For The Third Time Today

Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa will take oaths as the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka later today.

Rajapaksa will be sworn-in along with a 15-member Cabinet who will administer the country until the next Parliamentary election.

This will be the former President's third time as the Prime Minister.

UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe resigned from his post as the Prime Minister last afternoon allowing the new President to appoint a Prime Minister.
