President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has appointed six new provincial governors.

The newly-appointed governors are as follows,

A.J.M Muzammil - North Western, Raja Collure - Uva, Dr. Seetha Arambepola - Western. Lalith Gamage - Central, Willy Gamage - Southern, Tikiri Kobbekkaduwa - Sabaragamuwa.

The Presidential Secretariat yesterday informed all governors, appointed by former President Maithripala Sirisena, to step down from their positions.
