Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne has been admitted to a private hospital in Colombo following a "sudden illness," informed sources said.

Senaratne has reportedly been admitted to the Cardiology Unit of a private hospital in Narahenpita.

The former Minister recently underwent a heart surgery at a well-known hospital in Singapore.

The development comes amidst the CID's moves to arrest the former Minister following an arrest warrant issued by the Colombo Additional Magistrate.
