Parliamentary Debate On Forensic Edit Likely To Be Delayed As MPs Unable To Find "Sufficient Time" To Prepare For Debate

February 14, 2020

The Parliamentary debate on the forensic audit report is likely to be delayed, informed sources said.

They added that the reason for the delay is that the MPs did not have sufficient time to study the report in a comprehensive manner.

The debate is expected to take place on February 18 and 19.

However, due to "practical difficulties" faced by MPs in terms of preparations, many have requested their party leaders to postpone the debate.

A final decision in this regard will be made at a party leaders meeting.
