Mahinda Rajapaksa To Meet Former President Sirisena Today To Resolve Critical Issues Pertaining To New Alliance

A discussion between Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and former President Maithripala Sirisena is expected to take place this morning at Temple Trees.

The discussion is aimed to resolve critical issues pertaining to the alliance formed by the Sri Lanka Podujana Party and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.

Basil Rajapaksa, Dillas Alahapperuma and Prasanna Ranaweera are likely to join the discussion on behalf of the SLPP.

Nimal Siripala de Silva, Mahinda Amaraweera and Dayasiri Jayasekera will join the discussion as representatives of the former President.

Rajapaksa will lead the proposed alliance while Sirisena will function as its Chairman.
