MR Discusses COVID19, Economic Issues And Elections With US Ambassador: Discusses Plans To Produce PPEs To Meet Global Demand

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa said he discussed multiple issues including COVID19, economic issues and election-related matters during a meeting with US Ambassador Alaina B. Teplitz this morning.

"A host of issues including COVID19, economy, elections in both nations was discussed at a meeting with the US Ambassador," Prime Minister Rajapaksa tweeted this morning.

"I informed her, the #lka apparel sect. is producing #PPEs to meet global demands. The Amb.stated they are working with #lka companies to connect them with US buyers," Rajapaksa also added.

Foreign Ministry Secretary Ravinatha Aryasinha, Prof, G.L. Peiris and Gamini Senarath also joined the discussion.
