Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne was arrested by the CID, a short while ago.

The CID ordered by the Colombo Chief Magistrates' Court to produce former Health Minister in court.

The order followed a ruling by the Colombo High Court this morning quashing the order to release Senaratne on bail earlier this year over the controversial white van press conference.

The Attorney General filed a revision application against the Chief Magistrate's order to release Senaratne on bail over the controversial white van press conference last year.
