The 10th Covid19 death has been reported in Sri Lankan just hours before the relaxation of curfew measures in the country's commercial hub.

The victim is a 51-year-old woman - a returnee from Kuwait.

She was sent to a military-run quarantine centre in Trincomalee.

The government is in the process of reviewing repatriation of Sri Lankans stranded overseas as a number of recent returnees from Kuwait have been diagnosed with COVID19.
